ONE-TO-ONE MENTORSHIP

PROGRAM FORMAT
Four months of focused, live work.
This is not a library of prerecorded videos. It is a live learning process that adapts to the student. Sessions take place on Zoom or face to face, with the curriculum rebuilt around the music you want to make and the skills you need to strengthen.
HOW THE WORK DEVELOPS

Personal diagnosis
Before the program begins, your level, musical background, DAW, equipment, listening habits and goals are evaluated.
Live and interactive sessions
Every topic is experienced in motion: you listen, test, produce, question and revise instead of only watching an explanation.
Assignments and project feedback
Weekly exercises turn each subject into a working skill. Your own music becomes a central part of the learning process.
A method you can continue using
The goal is not only to provide answers, but to improve how you listen, ask questions, solve problems and build an independent practice.

PRACTICAL DETAILS
Start with the tools you already have.
Which DAW?+
You can study through the DAW you choose. The principles are taught through your own working environment rather than forcing every student into the same software.
What equipment?+
A computer capable of running your DAW, a stable internet connection and a webcam are enough to begin online sessions. Your existing setup is evaluated before additional purchases are suggested.
Does my level matter?+
No. The starting point and pace are adjusted to your current knowledge. Students with prior production experience follow a more advanced, project-specific route.
Zoom or face to face?+
The program can be conducted live on Zoom or face to face when location and scheduling allow. Zoom delivery is prepared for high-quality 1080p/60fps video and 48 kHz stereo audio, subject to connection conditions.
YOUR MENTOR
Experience translated into a working method.
Gerçek Dorman brings three decades of musicianship together with long-term experience in music technology education, production, composition, sound design, drumming, DJing and live performance. He holds Berklee Online master certificates in Drums and Music Production & Composition, has trained in advanced Ableton Live practice, and is the author of the D52 Drum Method, now in its 15th edition. The program brings these disciplines together around one purpose: helping you understand and complete your own music.
